Teriyaki Chicken Wings

INGREDIENTS
For the baked wings

250 gm chicken wings, 1 tsp oil, 1 tsp garlic, chopped, 1 tsp ginger, chopped, 1 tsp red chilli paste, Salt to taste, ¼ tsp black pepper powder, 1 tsp lemon juice, 2 tbsp spring onions, chopped

For the sauce
2 tsp oil, 1 tsp ginger, chopped, 1 tsp garlic, chopped, 1½ tbsp chilli paste, 2 tsp oyster sauce , 2 tsp tomato ketch-up, 2 tsp teriyaki sauce, ½ tsp light soya sauce, 50 ml stock, Salt to taste, ¼ tsp black pepper powder, ¼ tsp vinegar, ½ tsp sesame oil, ½ tsp sugar, 1 tsp diluted cornflour

METHOD
For the baked wings

• Marinate the chicken wings with chopped garlic, pepper, chopped ginger, salt and red chilli paste.
• Add lemon juice and bake until cooked.

For the sauce
• Heat oil in a wok, add chopped ingredients, chilli paste and stir-fry the mixture for a few minutes. Add the mentioned sauces and the stock; allow it to simmer.
• Add diluted cornflour and adjust the consistency of the sauce.

To serve
• Add the chicken wings to the wok and toss them with the sauces.
• Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot.
