INGREDIENTS
2 large pita breads (or hot dog rolls or burger buns), slit into half butter, for applying chilli-garlic sauce, for applying
For the filling
1½ cups mixed and shredded salad (iceberg, salad leaves, tomatoes, onions, red cabbage and carrot), 2½ tbsp peanut butter, 1 tsp oregano, 2 tbsp mayonnaise, 10-12 basil leaves, ½ tsp ginger-chilli paste, ¼ tsp fresh coriander leaves, ½ tsp mustard seed powder, salt to taste
METHOD
• Mix together the ingredients for the filling and keep aside.
• Apply butter on both the sides of the slit pita breads.
• Spread chilli-garlic sauce on the pita breads. Then spread the filling evenly on it.
• Cover with the other slice and serve.
