JOWAR LASOON KI KHICHDI

INGREDIENTS
150 g jowar (whole), 10 garlic cloves, 30 ml desi ghee, 1 tsp whole jeera, 1 tsp white butter, 1 lt water, salt to taste

METHOD
• Wash and soak the jowar in water for 30 minutes.
• After some time, drain the water and keep it in a bowl.
• Heat the ghee in a saucepan, then add garlic cloves and stir until golden brown in colour; remove the sautéed garlic and keep aside.
• Now temper the same ghee with whole jeera; then add jowar and stir for a few minutes until it gets roasted.
• Add water and salt and boil it well on low heat until cooked.
• Remove from heat. Serve hot with white butter and sautéed garlic cloves.
