Ingredients
5-6 shrimps, 1 tsp butter, 2 tsp olive oil, for frying, 1 tbsp garlic, 1 tbsp white sauce, 100 g penne, boiled, A few broccoli florets, 3-4 tbsp fresh cream, 4 tbsp stock, Parmesan cheese, to sprinkle, Salt and black pepper to taste
For the WHITE SAUCE
1 tbsp butter, 1 tbsp refined flour, 150 ml milk, Salt and pepper to taste
Method
• Sauté the shrimps in butter along with salt and pepper. Keep aside.
• Heat olive oil in a pan and add garlic and white sauce.
• Toss in the boiled penne, broccoli florets and sautéed shrimps.
• Add the fresh cream and stock and check the taste. Adjust the seasoning.
• Turn off the heat and sprinkle parmesan cheese on top. Serve.
For the WHITE SAUCE
• Heat butter in a pan. Add the flour and with the help of a whisk stir continuously.
• When the butter and the flour are incorporated well, slowly add the milk and keep stirring continuously with the whisk so that no lumps are formed.
• Season it with salt and pepper and adjust the consistency, if required, by adding more milk.
