Banana Bread French Toast

INGREDIENTS
2 peeled bananas, ¼ tsp baking powder, ¼ tsp baking soda, 3 tbsp brown sugar, 1½ tbsp vanilla extract, 1½ tbsp clove powder, ½ tsp cocoa powder,1 tsp cardamom powder, 4-5 eggs, 5-6 tbsp castor sugar, 1 cup flour, 1 cup milk, 1-2 pinch cinnamon powder, 3-4 tbsp sugar, 1 sliced banana, 1 blow torch, 2-3 tbsp desi ghee (clarified butter), Whipped cream for garnish, 5 spice powder for garnish

METHOD
• Peel 2 ripe bananas and chop them.
• Place and mash the chopped bananas in a big bowl.
• To the same bowl, add ¼ tsp baking powder, ¼ tsp baking soda, 1 to 1½ tbsp brown sugar, 1 tbsp vanilla extract, 1 tsp clove powder, ½ tsp cocoa powder, ¼ tsp cardamom powder; mix.
• Then take 3 to 4 eggs along with the yolk in bowl and add 5 to 6 tbsp castor sugar and 1 cup of flour, and whisk.
• When batter is ready, take a pre-frozen baking mould and pour the batter in it.
• In a pre-heated oven, bake at 180°C to 190°C for 18 to 20 minutes.
• For preparation of French toast batter, take a bowl and add 1 cup milk, 1 egg, ½ tsp vanilla extract, a pinch of clove powder, 1 to 2 pinches of cinnamon powder, 3 to 4 tsp sugar, a pinch of cardamom powder, and beat well.
• Let the batter rest for 8 to 10 minutes.
• Take the mould out of the oven and unmould.
• Let the banana loaf rest for 1-2 minutes.
• Peel 1 banana and slice it into two halves.
• Now spread 1 tsp brown sugar on top of the banana and place it on a plate.
• Caramelise the banana using a blow torch.
• Cut the banana bread into thick shapes of a toast. Dip it in the batter for 30-40 seconds.
• In a hot pan, add 2 to 3 tbsp clarified butter and place all the toasts in the pan.
• Flip the toasts when cooked from one side.

PRESENTATION
• Take out the French toasts from the pan; place them on the plate.
• Take the caramelised banana and place it on top of the French toasts.
• Add brown sugar and whipped cream over them.
• Sprinkle some five spice powder.
• Banana Bread French Toast is ready to serve.
